This water filter cartridge reduces lead, chlorine, particulates, and some herbicides and pesticides, without removing fluoride. It improves the taste and odour of your water and ice. The Rainfresh In-Line Ice and Water Filtration System is tested and certified by NSF International to meet or exceed NSF/ANSI Standards 42 and 53.

This Rainfresh Refrigerator Water Filter is an external inline filter that installs on 1/4" water line. This is the line that feeds water to the fridge. Simply remove the internal fridge filter and plug it using a bypass cap and save $$$. To change the filter cartridge, just hold, twist 1/4 turn and remove - No Spilling or Tools Required!

How To Replace The QSIMX QLV Water Filter:
1. Hold the cartridge and turn counterclockwise 1/4 turn. Lower it away from head while holding it vertically.
2. Turn the new cartridge clockwise 1/4 turn until it stops turning and the lock marks on the cartridge and head line up in the lock position. The cartridge is now locked in place.

For best performance and to ensure clean and safe drinking water, it is highly recommended to change your filter every 6 months.
