Pocket Hole Wood Screw, Pan Washer Head, #8 x 1-1/4", 100/Pack.
This Pan Head can be used with many applications since the large head provides a maximum bearing surface. The Course thread is recommended for softwood like Pine, Cedar, Melamine and Fiberboard. This Fastener is not recommended for outdoor use but would be great for Cabinets and furniture building.
Pocket-hole joinery, or pocket-screw joinery, involves drilling a hole at an angle (usually 15 degrees) into one work piece, and then joining it to a second work piece with a special screw. Clamping is not required. Glue is recommended, but not necessary.
