Keith S - windsor, ON (Oct 27, '18)
the guys at amre supply in windsor (THANKS GUYS!!!) recommended this product to me so i gave it a try. I was trying to get the lyme buildup off of my furnace humidifier drum (desert spring with the plastic discs), i usually have to disassemble the entire drum and clean each disc with CLR and a scrub pad, usually it just does ok but doesn't really do a great job. This lime Licker was awesome, i put some in a bucket with water and put the whole drum assembly with all discs attached in the bucket, it foamed up and within a few minutes most of the scale was gone, so i left it longer. about an hour later it had the whole thing clean, no sign of scale anywhere. After that i tried it on the pan part, which had lots of scale, I dumped the water/lime licker from the bucket (the same water mix that just did the drum) into a laundry tub with the pan, and it got most of the scale off. for what little scale was left i put some lime licker directly on it and it foamed up and came off right away, everything looked like new when it was done. for the couple of dollars more then CLR this stuff worked 100% better. I will be buying this stuff again for sure!! It is corrosive so wear gloves and it did have some odor, but wasn't too bad.
