Supco LP115 Washer Drain Pump. This drain pump includes a stopper and clamp to close 3rd port if it is not needed. The drain pump removes water from the washer during the drain portion of the cycle. This drain pump is a equivalent to Whirlpool 285317, 357729, 358258, 367068, 367103, 369617, 370403 and 383957.
Possible Repair Solution For:
Will not drain, unusual noises, leaking water, pumps but will not spin, not washing properly.

valve flapper breaks off

Symptom: Washer - Will Not Stop Filling With Water
Symptom: drains and recirculates at the same time for all cycles
poor quality. valve flapper falls off the shaft. flapper is mild steel which is tack welded to stainless steel shaft. covered by a rubber sleeve. water gets under the sleeve and corrodes the welds. i bought 2 pumps. the first lasted 2 weeks, the second lasted 2 months. The second pump lasted longer because i installed a rubber damper to absorb the shock when the control arm reaches its end of travel. i cut open the plastic casing to investigate.
