The ShaftLOK bit locking mechanism eliminates the hassle of bits falling out of the shaft when getting partially "stuck" in the fastener as the screwdriver is pulled back away. Retractable cartridge and Palm-Saver Technology. The EZ Guide collar helps maintain full contact between the bit and the screw for easier screw driving. The Shaft is made of alloy steel while the handle is made from engineered Triax 1120 resin, an ABS-Nylon alloy. Extend the shaft up to additional 16"" with optional ShaftLOK 6" and 10" Extensions (sold separate) that can be linked together.
