Break-Off Cast FD Connection Cap
Great for theft protection! This "Easy-Off (Kwikap) Cap" is designed to be secured internally on the inside female thread of the swivel connection. Constructed of cast aluminum with corrosion resistant internal set flanges. Set flanges are adjustable to suit any 2.5" (65mm) female hose thread. The fire department simply breaks the cap with a hydrant wrench to gain access to the female swivel connections. This product is designed to resist UV exposure, precipitation, and temperature changes. Additional products may be required to ensure secure outdoor mounting.
