Emerson White-Rodgers 3098-156 Flame Sensor Mercury. This sensor is For Proving Pilot Flame and Controlling Main Valve in Cycle Pilot Applications.
Features:
3 Pin Plugin.
Capillary Length 48".
Bulb Style #20 With Adapter for Bulb Styles # 17 & 18.
Direct plug-in connections (3098 series), eliminating point-to-point wiring.
Pilot flame heat vaporizes mercury within sensing bulb, which actuates the snap-action switch.
Switch may be SPST or SPDT and is usually wired in series with main valve relay in most automatic ignition systems.
