Kidde Smart Interconnect Carbon Monoxide Alarm. 120V AC Direct-Wire – Interconnects with up to 24 units, of which 18 can be initiating. Test / Reset Button – Tests circuitry and resets alarm. Interconnectable – ANY unit that senses a problem automatically triggers ALL units throughout the home immediately, allowing extra time for escape. Smart Interconnect sounds a smoke alarm pattern when an interconnected Kidde smoke alarm detects fire or smoke. Originating alarm identifies which unit detected CO. Be sure to purchase a carbon monoxide alarm that has been approved under the new CSA 6.19-01 standard. This ensures both electrical and performance standards.
